Spike TV Officially Announces “UFC Prelims” Show For UFC 128

Spike TV confirms UFC 128 “Prelims” special.

Spike TV will telecast two UFC 128 undercard bouts from the Prudential Center in Newwark, N.J. on March 19.

Edson Barboza vs. Anthony Njokuani and Luiz Cane vs. Eliot Marshall will be shown. Other bouts on the card might air on Spike TV depending on the length of the fights.

Barboza made his UFC debut at UFC 123 in November, defeating Mike Lullo by technical knockout. He has an undefeated 7-0 record.

Njokuani will be making his UFC debut, but has fought seven times in the WEC. He last fought at WEC 52 in November, defeating Edward Faaloloto via punches.

Light heavyweight Luiz Cane is looking to bounce back from back to back losses and move up in the division while Eliot Marshall returns to the UFC.

Marshall is on a three-fight win streak since being cut by the promotion following a decision loss to Vladimir Matyushenko in March. He has a 3-1 record inside the famed Octagon.

UFC 128 takes place on March 19 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The card features ten fights and is headlined by the light heavyweight title bout between champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Jon Jones. The Spike TV telecast begins at 9 p.m. ET and the main card airs live on pay per view at 10 p.m. ET.
