Top contender Evans signs with Bodylastics

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans has signed an agreement with Bodylastics International, LLC.

Evans joins Blake Kassell, the inventor of Bodylastics, and former mixed martial arts fighter Mike Van Arsdale “to help bring world-class fitness to MMA fans across the globe.” The Bodylastics home gym system has sold over 500,000 units since being launched back in 1998.

“Bodylastics is excited to work with such a premier athlete like Rashad Evans,” Kassell stated in today’s official press release. “We are confident that the Bodylastics MMA Training System will help assure Rashad is ready to take his next championship.”

Evans, whose run as champion was cut extremely short when Lyoto Machida defeated him via technical knockout at UFC 98, now finds himself with another opportunity to attain the 205 lb. gold when he faces off against Jon Jones later this year. He last fought at UFC 114,  defeating rival Quinton “Rampage” Jackson via unanimous decision in the evening’s main event.

This new workout will assure I am in the best shape as I train for my next championship battle,” Evans said.
