Sass, Johnson square off in Washington
Undefeated British lightweight Paul Sass will return to the cage at UFC on Versus 6 to take on former TUF finalist Michael Johnson.
UFC officials announced the fight on Friday morning. Officials also confirmed HeavyMMA’s earlier exclusive report that the event will take place at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.
Sass is undefeated and will be looking for his 12th consecutive victory. Ten of his eleven victories have come by way of submission, and eight of those submission have been triangle chokes. He debuted in the UFC last October and submitted Mark Holst at UFC 120 with a – you guessed it – triangle choke.
Johnson made his official UFC debut in a loss to Jonathan Brookins in the finals of the Ultimate Fighter 12 tournament, but returned to the cage to score a first-round TKO over Edward Faaloloto at UFC on Versus 4.
