UFC 135 and 136 get preliminary specials on Spike TV

Both UFC 135 and UFC 136 will feature preliminary card specials on Spike TV this September and October, respectively.

MMAjunkie.com revealed the news earlier today.

UFC 135 is set for September 24 in Denver, Colorado and features a light heavyweight title fight between champion Jon Jones and top contender Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. The evening’s preliminary special will feature two bouts on the cable network, though neither have been announced as of yet. The same goes for the UFC 136 preliminary special, which is set for October 8 in Houston, Texas. That event features the final bout in the trilogy between lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard.

Possible bouts to fill the slot for the September event include Mark Hunt vs. Ben Rothwell and Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton, while UFC 136 could feature Anthony Pettis vs. Jeremy Stephens and Dave Herman vs. Mike Russow on Spike. More news will become available as the events approach.
