Jones, Jackson set for “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Monday
UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and top contender Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will be featured on Monday night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC at 12 a.m. ET/PT.
The two fighters will discuss their upcoming bout, which is set to take place at UFC 135 in Denver, Colorado on September 24.
“Rampage” has already attempted to stir up some pre-fight controversy and hype after stating that Jone’s had a spy in his camp to gain an edge in the upcoming match up. Jones naturally denied the allegations.
Jones, who has rolled through every fighter set in front of him, defeated Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 128 to earn the 205 lb. title. His lone loss as a professional came against Matt Hamill in December of 2009 due to disqualification.
Meanwhile, Jackson earned his shot at the title after back-to-back victories of Lyoto Machida and the aforementioned Hamill. His last loss came to fellow contender and rival Rashad Evans at UFC 114.
