A middleweight bout between Jared Hamman and Constantinos Philippou is now official for UFC 140 in December.
UFC officials today announced the bout, which rounds out the 12-fight card. The event takes place Dec. 10 at the Air Canada Centre and is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida.
Hamman vs. Philippou is scheduled for the Facebook-streamed preliminary card.
Hamman is coming off a second-round finish of C.B. Dolloway at UFC on Versus 5 in August. It was Hamman’s middleweight debut after years of plying his trade at light heavyweight.
Philippou defeated Jorge Rivera by split decision in his last bout at UFC 133 after replacing an injured Alessio Sakara.
