Student Stabbed at Massachusetts High School: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

A stabbing has been reported at Methuen High School in Methuen, Massachusetts, reports Fox 25.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. A Student Was Stabbed in the Buttocks

Early reports suggest one student has been stabbed in the parking lot of the school. Jill Harmackinski of The Eagle Tribune tweeted that the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. She also tweeted that the student was male and is being treated at Holy Family Hospital. He has since been released from hospital.

2. At Least One Suspect is a Former Student

Ohe of the suspects is believed to be a former student at the school. Cops have at least one suspect in custody:

My Fox Boston reports that police are still looking for two persons of interest in the case.

3. Cops Are Used K-9 Units & Choppers to Search For the Suspects

A massive search was launched for the suspect involving multiple agencies and departments. The Methuen Police Department have tweeted that there is no further threat to the public.

4. The School Was Not Locked Down

There was no lockdown in place at the school.

5. Methuen is the Biggest High School in the District
