Wednesday sees the 79th edition of La Fleche Wallonne, the midweek Ardennes Classic. 200 or so riders will roll out of the small Belgian town of Wallemme to tackle La Fleche’s 11 hills, including three ascents of the iconic Mur de Huy and a new climb for this year: the Cote de Cherave.

With six of the route’s climbs coming inside the last 55 kilometers of the race, it’s another Classic for the Puncheurs. Spain’s Alejandro Valverde will be back to defend his title, accompanied by Movistar teammate and 2014 Giro d’Italia winner Nairo Quintana.

Viewers in the UK can catch live TV coverage of the race on British Eurosport from 1:15pm BST on Wednesday April 22nd, with highlights on the same channel at 6:00pm BST. In the US, NBCSN will show highlights of the race from 11pm Eastern on Wednesday. For a list of coverage in other countries, check out steephill.tv’s handy list.
