Alex Dowsett will tackle cycling’s Hour Record this Saturday at the Manchester Velodrome. Dowsett is bidding to become the first Briton to break the iconic record since Chris Boardman did so in 2000, also in Manchester.

Dowsett will have 60 minutes to travel further than the current record of 52.491 kilometers, set by Australian Rohan Dennis (BMC) in February 2015 at the Velodrome Suisse in Grenchen. Dowsett is the latest in a slew of attempts on the record since the UCI’s rule change, with Jens Voigt, Matthias Brändle and Jack Bobridge all having attempted the record in the last six months, and Sir Bradley Wiggins set to tackle the mark in June.

Viewers in Europe can catch Dowsett’s record attempt on either British Eurosport 2 or Eurosport 2 from 12:45pm BST /1:45pm CET on Saturday May 2nd, or online via the Eurosport Player.

There is no live TV coverage scheduled outside of Europe, but here’s how to watch Alex Dowsett’s record attempt online.
