Fantasy teams left and right have been hamstrung by hamstring injuries, especially at the running back position.

Some of the biggest stat producers have been forced from games because of leg injuries, opening the door for some unproven commodities to show they belong.

Three studs in particular are looking very iffy at the moment for Week 4 of the NFL season.

Let’s see who they are and what their futures hold:

Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks — Lynch left Sunday’s game after just 5 carries, then saw Thomas Rawls run wild on Chicago. Lynch had an MRI Monday, but we’ll have a better idea of his status later in the week. Lynch, fortunately, won’t face the Lions until Monday night, giving him an extra day of rest. If he can play, he’s got a pretty favorable matchup.

LeSean McCoy, Bills — There is pretty good chance McCoy sits out vs. the Giants Sunday afternoon. He’s likely not on your waiver wire still, but rookie Karlos Williams will have serious fantasy value if McCoy rests. If I had to guess now, I’d say the Bills let Shady’s hamstring heal as long as it needs and give Williams the pill plenty.

DeMarco Murray, Eagles — He sat out Week 3 vs. the Jets and watched as Ryan Mathews rack up over 100 yards, something Murray hasn’t come close to doing. On the entire season. Even if Murray plays, his fantasy value has taken a major hit as Mathews and Darren Sproles have done more than enough to warrant touches.

Each week I’ll be posting fantasy football rankings for quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and defenses/special teams. Bookmark our fantasy football rankings 2015 page to keep up-to-date on the latest projections and rankings so you know you who to start and who to sit.
