On Friday, March 27, 2026, pro golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover car crash near his home on Jupiter Island on the east coast of Florida. Shortly after being at fault for the accident, Woods was arrested by Stuart, FL law enforcement under the suspicion of being under the influence of a substance that rendered him incapable of getting behind the wheel of a vehicle. The DUI charge incurred by Tiger Woods is not the first for the golf legend.
Within a handful of hours, the professional golf icon was ultimately released on bail from the Martin County Jail and drove away from the county jail in the passenger seat of a friend’s black SUV. From his mugshot to the scene of the rollover crash, here are all of the photos that have surfaced from Tiger Woods’ eventful past 24 hours.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said that Woods and the other driver involved in the two-car crash in Jupiter Island, Florida, were not injured.
The accident in which Tiger Woods was involved on Friday, March 27, 2026 has been listed as occurring between two vehicles – one of which is the pro golfer’s Range Rover – around 2:00 PM EST. The second vehicle, according to Martin County Sheriff John M. Budensiek, was a pickup truck with a trailer. However, it was only Woods’ car that was found on its side by first responders and law enforcements who responded to the scene of the accident.
The Sheriff went on to describe that the pickup truck with which Woods’ Range Rover collided was pulling a pressure washer trailer at the time of the crash and was attempting to turn into a driveway at the time of the collision.

At the time of the crash, Woods is said to have been traveling at an excessively high speed and, though he allegedly tried to swerve to miss the car with which his Range Rover collided, he ended up clipping the trailer and the physical combination of speed with the impact caused his SUV to turn on its side.

When Sheriff’s Deputies arrived to address the auto accident, Budensiek says that Tiger Woods appeared not to be at full cognitive capacity, explaining, “Our DUI investigators came to the scene, and Mr. Woods did [show] signs of impairment.” Following multiple tests performed on the scene by the DUI investigative team, Budensiek says that the Martin County Sheriff’s Department had enough of an evidentiary burden to believe that Woods was driving while under the influence of a substance, and they subsequently placed him under arrest before charging him with a DUI.
The arrest on March 27, 2026 is the second DUI arrest charge accrued by Tiger Woods within the last decade. Following multiple back surgeries, including undergoing medical treatment following lower body injuries obtained in a 2021 car accident, the golfer has been known to speak about his need to take prescription opioids to assuage the severity of pain he experiences from his medical procedures. Thus far in yesterday’s arrest debacle, Woods has not agreed to take a urine test nor does he allegedly want to enter a plea deal of any kind like he did when he was arrested on a DUI charge in 2017.
