The Tennessee Titans limped to the finish line in Week 18, as they suffered their 14th loss of the 2025 NFL season by getting crushed by the division rival Jacksonville Jaguars, 41-7.
Even though the 2025 campaign didn’t go as planned for the Titans, Tennessee will have a chance to dust itself off and get to work heading into the NFL offseason, with the first order of business being to find a new head coach to succeed Brian Callahan.
Fortunately for the Titans, the struggling franchise will have some intriguing options, with the team wasting no time in setting up interviews following the Week 18 loss to the Jaguars.
Kevin Stefanski & Lou Anarumo Set to Interview with Titans

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Titans have set up interviews with two-time NFL Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski, formerly of the Cleveland Browns, and Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo.
Obviously, the primary candidate for Tennessee, whom general manager Mike Borgonzi and company will hope to convince to take on the rebuild for the Titans, is Stefanski.
Even though Stefanski had a rough final few years in Cleveland, the Browns didn’t do him any favors, nor did it help that there was a revolving door at the quarterback position, which ultimately led to the firing of the 43-year-old veteran head coach.
As for Anarumo, who has become a popular name linked to head coaching vacancies in the NFL heading into the offseason, he is hoping to land his first job as a head coach in the league after having a solid 2025 campaign with the Colts.
Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris will also interview for the head coaching vacancy in Tennessee, according to ESPN’s Peter Schrager.
It’ll be interesting to see if other names emerge if neither Stefanski nor Anarumo is hired after this round of interviews by the Titans.
Cam Ward Gives Titans GM a Vote of Confidence

One of the biggest draws for coaching candidates for the Titans will be the opportunity to mold No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward.
Although Ward’s rookie campaign wasn’t spectacular, the University of Miami product showed his potential to be a star in the NFL, and that might be enough to convince someone like Stefanski to take the job in Tennessee.
Along with showing that he could have a promising career ahead, Ward gave general manager Mike Borgonzi a vote of confidence heading into what will be a crucial offseason for the franchise, via Ben Arthur of FOX Sports: NFL.
“He’s got a vision,” Ward said of Borgonzi. “We see eye-to-eye. He’s a GM who’s connected to his players.”
Borgonzi also spoke about the head coaching search, as the NFL offseason is underway for the Titans.
As for Ward, the promising young quarterback’s first season with the Titans came to an end with the 23-year-old throwing for 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions while also rushing for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 39 carries.
