Ahead of Sunday’s game, the Tigers announced the news that they had optioned Enmanuel DeJesus to Triple-A.
Tigers PR wrote: “LHP Enmanuel DeJesus was optioned to Triple-A following last night’s game.”
De Jesus has gone 2-0 with a 3.83 ERA in 30 games this year.
He is in the middle of his second season at the MLB level.
Prior to Detroit, DeJesus had spent his rookie year (2023) with the Miami Marlins.
DeJesus has gone 0-1 with a 3.65 ERA in eight Triple-A games this year.

The Tigers are currently the fourth-place team in the American League Central with a 61-68 record in 129 games.
They have won just two out of their last ten games (and are 29-37 in 66 games on the road).
After the Royals, the Tigers will return home to host the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night.
