On Tuesday night, the Detroit Tigers will continue their series with the Boston Red Sox (at home) in Michigan.
The Tigers are coming off a 5-4 loss (on Monday).
They are dealing with a lot of injuries to start the 2026 MLB season.

The Tigers are still a competitive team who is looking to make the MLB playoffs in 2026.
With all of their injuries, one player they should look to add is Marcus Stroman.
The 35-year-old has spent the last two seasons playing for the New York Yankees (and is currently a free agent).
While Stroman struggled in 2025, going 3-2 with a 6.23 ERA, he has had a very strong career.

Stroman was picked in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft.
He spent the first five and a half seasons of his career with the Toronto Blue Jays, establishing himself among the best pitchers in the American League.
After the Blue Jays, Stroman had stops with the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs (before the Yankees).
As recently as 2023, he was an All-Star (with the Cubs).

Over 270 career games, Stroman has gone 90-87 with a 3.79 ERA.
He has made two All-Star Games over 11 seasons.
Tigers Right Now

The Tigers are 18-18 in 36 games, which has them at the top of the American League Central.
They are 12-4 in the 16 games they have played at home in Detroit.
Following their series with the Red Sox, the Tigers will visit the Kansas City Royals on Friday night.
