With all of their injuries, one player they should look to add is Marcus Stroman.
The 35-year-old has spent the last two seasons playing for the New York Yankees (and is currently a free agent).
While Stroman struggled in 2025, going 3-2 with a 6.23 ERA, he has had a very strong career.
Stroman was picked in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft.
He spent the first five and a half seasons of his career with the Toronto Blue Jays, establishing himself among the best pitchers in the American League.
After the Blue Jays, Stroman had stops with the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs (before the Yankees).
As recently as 2023, he was an All-Star (with the Cubs).
Over 270 career games, Stroman has gone 90-87 with a 3.79 ERA.
He has made two All-Star Games over 11 seasons.
