The Celtics are in the middle of another fantastic season as the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 53-25 record in 78 games.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have gone 8-2 over their last ten).
Following the Hornets, the Celtics will play their next game on Thursday when they visit Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

After winning the 2024 title over the Dallas Mavericks, the Celtics lost to the Knicks in the second round of the 2025 playoffs.

On the other side of the matchup, the Hornets come into play as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 43-36 record in 79 games.
They have won eight out of their last ten games (and four in a row).
Following the Celtics, the Hornets will play their next game on Friday night when they return home to host the Detroit Pistons in North Carolina.

The Hornets have been unable to return to the NBA playoffs since 2016 when Kemba Walker was still on the roster.
