Porter chipped in 27 points (10-20 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 40 minutes during Saturday's 119-108 loss to the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Porter was Denver's second-best player in this game, as he trailed only Nikola Jokic in scoring and rebounding while notching his second consecutive double-double in the series. Despite playing a secondary role on offense behind Jokic and Jamal Murray, Porter has scored at least 20 points while grabbing nine or more rebounds in his last three contests, a run he'll aim to continue in Game 5 on Monday.

Michael Porter : Records double-double in Game 4
Nikola Jokic : Massive triple-double not enough
Jokic closed Saturday's 119-108 loss to the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 33 points (10-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 11-11 FT), 14 rebounds, 14 assists, one block and one steal over 41 minutes. Jokic has two triple-doubles and two double-doubles in the current series against the Lakers, but unlike in the previous three contests, he was unable to carry Denver to victory following yet another slow start. Jokic's individual numbers have been amazing in the series, though, as he's averaging 29.0 points, 15.3 rebounds and 10.0 assists per game. He'll aim to lift the Nuggets to close the series out Monday in Game 5.
Jamal Murray : Scores 22 points with 23 shots
Murray racked up 22 points (9-23 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one block over 39 minutes during Saturday's 119-108 loss to the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Murray's shooting woes continued in Game 4, as he finished with nine or fewer shots made while attempting 20-plus for the fourth consecutive contest. His numbers on the surface look good, as Murray is averaging 21.5 points per game while the Nuggets are 3-1 up in the series, but he's shooting a woeful 38 percent from the field. The Nuggets need him to be more efficient if they want to close the series out in Game 5 on Monday.
Reggie Jackson : Available to play
Jackson (ankle) is available to play in Saturday's Game 4 versus the Lakers. Jackson was carrying a questionable tag prior to this update, as he left the Nuggets' Game 3 win Thursday in the third quarter and was unable to return due to a minor ankle tweak. He's expected to see his usual minutes as Denver's backup point guard Saturday night.
Reggie Jackson : Questionable for Saturday
Jackson (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's Game 4 against the Lakers, Brendan Vogt of TheDNVR.com reports. Jackson left the Nuggets' Game 3 win Thursday in the third quarter and was unable to return, finishing with five points and an assist in seven minutes. Coach Michael Malone said Friday that Jackson has a sprained left ankle and is wearing a preventative boot. With the Nuggets leading the series 3-0, the team will likely be cautious with the 34-year-old.
Reggie Jackson : Exits early Thursday
Jackson (ankle) didn't return Thursday to the Nuggets' 112-105 win over the Lakers in Game 3 of the series. He finished the game with five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one assist in seven minutes. Jackson appeared to be dealing with an ankle injury when heading to the locker room in the third quarter, and he didn't see the court during the final period. Head coach Michael Malone said after the game that Jackson was close to not playing in Game 3, so the coaching staff has had conversations about what to do in case he can't suit up for Saturday's Game 4. Since the Nuggets claimed a 3-0 lead in the series following Thursday's win, it wouldn't be surprising to see the team be cautious with Jackson's health.
Jamal Murray : Goes for 22 points Thursday
Murray contributed 22 points (8-21 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, nine assists and one block in 41 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 win over the Lakers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Murray didn't have his best shooting performance after needing 21 shots to score 22 points, but he compensated for the lack of efficiency with his nine assists. He's reached the 20-point mark in the first three games of the series against the Lakers, but the lack of efficiency has been a problem, as he's made just 37.7 percent of his field-goal attempts so far.
Nikola Jokic : Sniffs triple-double in Game 3
Jokic accumulated 24 points (9-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 15 rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 victory over the Lakers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. It seemed effortless at times, but Jokic once again finished just shy of posting a triple-double, despite dealing with the imposing threat of Anthony Davis on both ends of the court throughout the entire contest. Jokic has posted seven straight double-doubles dating back to the regular season, and he's averaging 27.7 points, 15.7 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game so far in the series against the Lakers.
