Jamal Murray: Breaking News

Murray recorded 30 points (7-22 FG, 0-8 3Pt, 16-16 FT), five rebounds and seven assists across 39 minutes during Saturday's 116-105 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs. While Murray struggled to get his shot to drop and missed all eight of his three-point attempts, he did an excellent job of creating contact and getting to the charity stripe for easy buckets. He was perfect at the line, committed only two turnovers in his 39 minutes of floor time and ended his evening with a team-best plus-13 differential in the 11-point win.

Murray (shoulder) isn't listed on the injury report for Saturday's Game 1 against the Timberwolves. Murray missed Denver's final two regular-season games due to a right shoulder impingement, though he's set to return for the start of the playoffs. The star point guard reached the 20-point threshold in nine of his last 10 regular-season games, averaging 27.6 points, 7.1 assists and 4.3 rebounds across 37.9 minutes per contest during that span.

Murray has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs due to a right shoulder impingement. Murray will join at least three more of Denver's regular starters on the inactive list for Sunday's regular-season finale, while Nikola Jokic (wrist) is listed as questionable.
