Dak Prescott was seen at a Pro Bull Riders event in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday, May 15. According to TMZ, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback attended the event alongside Caitlin Rance—a good friend of Prescott’s ex, Sarah Ramos.
Sources told TMZ that Prescott and Rance looked “a little more than just friends,” but Prescott has denied that he and Rance, who was in Prescott and Ramos’ wedding party before they called off their nuptials, are an item.
Caitlin Rance and Dak Prescott Were Together When TMZ Reached Out
TMZ reported a call was made to Rance for a comment on the story and she handed the phone over to the NFLer. Prescott told the outlet that there’s no truth to rumors that he and Rance are anything more than friends and that they’ve known each other since their time at Mississippi State University.
Based on Rance’s Instagram account, she’s an avid gym-goer who is very close to her family. She doesn’t have any recent photos with Ramos—or Prescott—though she did share some Instagram Stories from Friday night’s event in Forth Worth. Amongst the people she’s following is Prescott, but not Ramos.
On Saturday, May 16, Ramos took to her Instagram Stories to share that she was listening to Drake’s “Firm Friends” on Spotify. “Scorpio king,” she captioned the post, adding the pinching hand emoji. It’s unclear if her post had anything to do with her ex’s recent outing with Rance. Additionally, Ramos still has photos of Prescott on her Instagram feed.
Prescott and Ramos Split 1 Month Before Their April Wedding
Prescott and Ramos started dating in 2023 and announced they were expecting a child together in November of that year. The former couple welcomed daughter, MJ, in February 2024. Eight months later, Prescott proposed.
“The best week of my life with the love of my life. You make me the happiest girl on Earth and I cannot wait to be your wife… I love you in this life and the next, @_4dak ! To forever with you,” Ramos captioned an Instagram post at the time.
In May 2025, Prescott and Ramos welcomed another baby, their daughter, Aurora.
The former couple planned to tie the knot in Italy in April, 2026, but suddenly called things off after a “blowup argument” at their joint bachelor/ette parties, per TMZ Sports.
On March 9, TMZ Sports reported that Prescott and Ramos sent an email to their wedding guests officially calling things off.
“As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday, April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding,” the email read, per the outlet. “We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers.”
