A strong 2-0 start for the Green Bay Packers has set them up quite well for their first road game of the season. They enter as heavy favorites against the 0-2 Cleveland Browns.
Green Bay had a few key players enter the week as questionable, including TE Tucker Kraft and RT Zach Tom. Micah Parsons has also had plenty of eyes on him these first few weeks as he plays on a snap count.
Tucker Kraft and Zach Tom Will Both Play in Cleveland
After putting up 27 points in both Weeks 1 and 2, QB Jordan Love has his top target back. The world was watching last week as Kraft put on a show against the Washington Commanders. He left Thursday Night Football with six receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown. Ultimately, a scary injury nearly prevented him from playing in Week 3.
Thankfully for Love and the Packers, Kraft is suiting up in Cleveland. The team is already down star receivers Jayden Reed and Christian Watson, so losing Kraft could’ve been detrimental. Also, Love will get some additional help in his front five. Tom, who has been dealing with an oblique injury, will play against the Browns.
Love was sacked twice last week against a Commanders defense that doesn’t have Myles Garrett. The Packers know they need to put their best foot forward, despite the Browns entering Week 3 without a win. On the other side of things, Green Bay is able to unleash Parsons against veteran QB Joe Flacco. Flacco has been sacked four times in his first two games.
Green Bay Packers Week 3 Inactives
With key injuries avoided, Packers’ Mike Spofford had the pleasure of writing only three inactive players for the Packers. They’ll be without CB Kamal Hadden, OL Donovan Jennings, and DL Warren Brinson in Week 3. Safe to say, they can deal without those three players.
Parsons will be able to play without a snap count for the first time as a Packer. Looking to wreak havoc in Cleveland, the former Dallas Cowboys star has already made quite the impact in his short amount of time in Green Bay. This will be his first road game with the team as he was able to enjoy the first two games at historic Lambeau Field.
As for the Browns, Cleveland is without quite a few players. QB Shedeur Sanders, S Damontae Kazee, CB Cameron Mitchell, RB Raheim Sanders, DT Mike Hall Jr., G Zak Zinter, and T Jack Conklin are all inactive.
