Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly headed to the United Kingdom for this year’s Brit Awards, setting the stage for a potentially headline-grabbing encounter with Swift’s ex-boyfriend, Harry Styles, according to a Yahoo! News report.
The global pop megastar has quietly flown into the U.K. with an entourage of about 20 friends and associates. It has not yet been confirmed that Kelce is in the traveling party, or if the Kansas City Chiefs’ future Hall of Fame tight end will join his famous fiancée at the awards ceremony. Swift and her group secretly landed in London, England, earlier this week, according to an insider quoted by Britain’s The Sun newspaper. The superstar is expected to travel to Manchester, per the report, where the 2026 Brit Awards will be held at Co-op Live Arena on Saturday, Feb. 28.
Styles is also expected to attend, raising the possibility that Swift and Kelce could find themselves face-to-face with the “Aperture” singer — a potentially awkward situation given that Swift and Styles were romantically involved in a nearly-year-long relationship in 2012 — a relationship that gripped the attention of fans so thoroughly that they gave the couple a nickname, “Haylor.”
Swift is nominated for International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for “The Fate of Ophelia.” There has been no official confirmation that she will perform at the ceremony, nor has Kelce publicly addressed whether he plans to be there alongside his fiancée.

Kelce Believed to Fear Awkward Styles Encounter
While Swift’s various romantic entanglements have been well-publicized, she has never been engaged prior to last year, when Kelce proposed to the pop star after two years of dating.
The couple, amidst the NFL season and Swift’s promotional events to support her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, have been planning their wedding and coming up with a guest list — but according to one report, Swift wants to invite Styles but is sensitive about Kelce’s possible reaction.
“One of Taylor Swift‘s exes might end up at her wedding with Travis Kelce as a plus-one for one of her close pals,” Reality Tea reported. “Insiders reveal that Swift doesn’t seem to have a problem with her ex’s appearance, given there’s no bad blood. But the pop icon would not want to put her and Kelce in an awkward situation on their big day.”
Styles would attend as the “plus-one” of his current partner, actress Zoe Kravitz, according to the report.
“Zoe’s falling hard for Harry, and she’s very close to Taylor, so if it were up to her, they’d all be double-dating, but there’s no way that will fly with Taylor or Travis,” a source close to the couple told Reality Tea.
Swift, Styles Wrote Numerous Songs About Each Other
The relationship between the two pop stars, which reportedly began sometime around March 2012 and fell apart in January of the following year, is believed to have been so serious that the couple have each written and recorded songs about each other, possibly several.
Neither Swift nor Styles have confirmed that either is the subject of a song by the other, but Swift’s songs “Style” and “Out of the Woods” are believed to directly reference Styles — while the Styles song “Perfect,” recorded with his previous group One Direction, contains the lyrics “And if you’re looking for someone to write your breakup songs about, baby I’m perfect,” apparently a reference to Swift’s tendency to pen songs about her breakups with various ex-boyfriends.
Her The Life of a Showgirl album is believed to contain lyrics that directly reference her relationship with Kelce.
