Travis Kelce confirmed he will return for another season with the Kansas City Chiefs, but sources say the NFL star and Taylor Swift remain focused on their long-term plans together.
Kelce recently revealed his decision to play another season after speculation about his future. The tight end, who is reportedly set to earn $12 million, said Swift’s passion for her work helped inspire his decision.
“We share the same love for what we do,” Kelce said during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” adding that it was motivating to see Swift continue to find “love and joy in what she does.”
While Kelce prepares for another NFL season, a source claims his comeback will not delay the couple’s plans to marry or start a family.

According to the report, Kelce’s decision to return to the Chiefs may actually speed up the couple’s wedding timeline.
“A lot of people are predicting that this will bump up the wedding planning, and that they will make things official before pre-season,” a source told Yahoo Entertainment.
The insider added that Swift and Kelce do not plan to delay their family goals either.
“He and Taylor are confident they can juggle baby-making with Travis’ career,” the source said. “It won’t be a problem!”
Kelce previously explained that his motivation for returning to the field was fueled by how last season ended for the Chiefs.
“Of course I don’t want to end my career not making the playoffs and not having one of the best years, definitely having a down year,” Kelce said during an episode of the podcast “New Heights,” which he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.
He added that the season’s ending left him frustrated.
“I (expletive) hated the way that (expletive) ended last year,” Kelce said.
The three-time Super Bowl champion said the team’s performance gave him additional motivation heading into another season.

Kelce also spoke about his admiration for Swift during the episode.
He repeatedly referred to himself as “the luckiest man in the world.”
The appearance quickly drew massive attention online. The episode reached 10 million views in its first 16 hours.
Sources say their time together during the past year helped confirm their long-term plans.
“During this downtime, they really noticed all the little things they have in common,” a second source told the outlet. “They feel like they’ve found their person.”
The source added that the couple appears aligned about their future.
