The “Phenomenal Son” has officially joined the TNA promotion that his father, AJ Styles, made famous.

Avery Styles, the 19-year-old son of WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles, announced he signed with TNA during Lockdown.

“You all know what TNA means to me and my family,” Avery Styles told the crowd after entering to his father’s Ring of Honor entrance theme. “AJ Styles wouldn’t be who he is without TNA. Avery Styles won’t become who he is gonna be without TNA.”

“So I’m here to announce that I am officially signed with TNA Wrestling,” Styles exclaimed.

Moments after his announcement, Avery Styles was interrupted by former TNA Champion Frankie Kazarian.

Kazarian recalled laying the foundation for TNA in the early 2000s, when he competed with and against AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels.

“Look at you, Avery. As the King of TNA, I want to be the first to welcome you aboard,” Kazarian said.

“It’s no secret that your dad and I are like brothers. In fact, we are closer than brothers. Your dad, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and I formed a bond so strong that it can never be broken. All of us poured our hearts into this place to make TNA the place that it is today.”

Kazarian also warned the TNA newcomer to trust no one in his wrestling journey.

“There’s a lot of snakes in that locker room. There’s a lot of guys who will take you out just because of your last name. But not me. You can always trust me, Avery,” Kazarian said.

Avery Styles will forge his own journey in the house his father built.

Before his storied, decade-long career in WWE, AJ Styles became a global superstar with TNA.

Known as the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles became the face of TNA with his fearless fighting style and high-flying ability.

AJ Styles, the company’s first Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion, won 17 total championships in TNA.

“I’m stoked to see what he’s got in store,” AJ Styles said of Avery on Chris Van Vliet’s INSIGHT podcast.

AJ Styles debuted on TNA when he was 25 years old. His son, Avery, is just 19 with plenty of room to grow and mature as a wrestler.

Already boasting the Phenomenal Forearm and Styles Clash in his in-ring moveset, the sky is the limit for Avery Styles.

IWC Reacts to Avery Styles’ TNA Signing

TNA shared Avery Styles’ exciting announcement on social media, and it didn’t take long for the internet wrestling community to begin praising the addition of the second-generation star.

“I think this is really good for him,” an Instagram user wrote. “Happy for the kid. Wish him the best in TNA.”

“The future is now,” another wrote.

“Continuing the family legacy,” a user replied, adding a string of fire emojis.

“Damn, I’m old. I remember when his dad got his kids’ names tattooed,” wrote a longtime wrestling fan.

“Congratulations to the Phenomenal Son!” another wrote.
