Fresh off a two-night WrestleMania 42 in La Vegas, there were a few major roster shakeups on the RAW After WrestleMania.
WWE superstars Rhea Ripley and Jacob Fatu are switching brands. Additionally, rising talent Sol Ruca and Ethan Page made their RAW debuts Monday night.
As announced by longtime WWE commentator Michael Cole, former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will also be joining the RAW roster. Following his stint in TNA, Hendry joined NXT following the WWE-TNA merger in January 2025.
Hendry’s reign as TNA World Champion in 2025 lasted for 126 days, beginning with his win at Genesis on January 19, 2025, and ending in late May 2025.
Notably, Trick Williams defeated Trick Williams for the TNA Championship at NXT Battleground. Williams has since been promoted to SmackDown, where he is the reigning United States champion.
Meanwhile, Hendry will look to make an imprint on the RAW roster as he did with TNA and NXT. Hendry, known for appearing at the mention of his name, carried gold in TNA and NXT.
He won the NXT Championship after it was vacated by Oba Femi, who recently declared himself as “the ruler” of WWE.
Hendry defeated Ricky Saints, Dion Lennox, Jackson Drake, Keanu Carver, Sean Legacy and Shiloh Hill in an epic Ladder Match on Feb. 3 to win the vacant title.
Joe Hendry Has History With Several WWE Stars
Since the WWE, TNA multi-year partnership deal was inked in January 2025, Joe Hendry has appeared on WWE, NXT and TNA programming.
While appearing on multiple brands, Hendry has gone toe-to-toe with some of WWE’s brightest stars.
At WrestleMania 41, Hendry faced Randy Orton in his WrestleMania debut. The Scottish star was the first TNA World Champion to appear at WrestleMania.
Orton defeated Hendry via pinfall in what was his 20th career WrestleMania match.
Hendry has also had matches against current United States champion Trick Williams and Ethan Page. The Scottish wrestler was a participant in the Andre the Giant Battle Royale last Friday on SmackDown.
With NXT, Hendry has been an amiable mentor to those eager for his tutelage. For those that prefer a more physical demonstration, Hendry has been a handful in the ring.
RAW After Netflix Featured Major Roster Shake-Ups
As revealed on Monday’s RAW on Netflix, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is headed to SmackDown.
“You handle your business, and I’ll go be the champion that SmackDown needs,” Ripley told Iyo Sky backstage, seemingly ending their fruitful tag team partnership.
Ripley has been a RAW superstar for months and is even in the show’s Netflix promotional graphic.
Now, she heads to SmackDown, where her rival Jade Cargill awaits.
Additionally, the Samaon Werewold Jacob Fatu has been added to the RAW roster. During RAW After WrestleMania, Fatu made it clear he isn’t interested in joining Reigns and the Usos’ faction. Instead he covets to take everything Reigns has, beginning with the WWE Heavyweight Championship.
NXT standouts Ethan Page and Sol Ruca were also promoted to the RAW roster. For their debut matches, Page took on Je’Von Evans while Sol Ruca faced Liv Morgan.
