This week’s episode of WWE Raw will be held at the Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. It’s the first show after WWE Backlash 2026, and there are plenty of things to look forward to.
WWE has a hectic schedule with Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23 and Clash in Italy on May 31.
WWE Raw Preview for May 11, 2026
Raw general manager Adam Pearce dropped a few announcements on Mother’s Day pertaining to this week’s show.
- Paige and Brie Bella to confront Judgment Day
- Oba Femi Open Challenge
- Six-Man Tag Team Match announced
- Roman Reigns Acknowledgement Ceremony
The build to Saturday Night’s Main Event and Clash in Italy begins for the red brand. SmackDown already has a match for Clash in Italy as Cody Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther.
Paige and Brie Bella to Confront Judgment Day
Since winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42, Paige and Brie Bella have a huge target on their backs. They already defended their titles twice against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and The Irresistible Forces.
Now, they turn their attention to Judgment Day, specifically Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. They began calling for a title shot after beating Bayley and Lyra Valkyria on the April 27 edition of Raw.
With Liv Morgan leading Rodriguez and Perez, Judgment Day are hunting for more gold. They seem to have found their cohesiveness last Monday after Perez helped JD McDonagh beat Finn Balor.
Oba Femi Open Challenge Continues
Last week on Raw, the Oba Femi Open Challenge started, and the first superstar to answer it was Otis of Alpha Academy.
At first, Akira Tozawa appeared to have answered the challenge, only for Otis to make the reveal before the bell rang. Despite the change, The Rule made it look easy and took down Otis with ease.
Oba Femi was able to lift Otis for an impressive Fall From Grace powerbomb to earn the easy win. It will be interesting to see if there are more stars tough and brave enough to answer the challenge this week.
Six-Man Tag Team Match Announced
After weeks of tension, Logan Paul finally has a chance to get his hands on Joe Hendry in a six-man tag team. Paul teams up with Bron Breakker and Austin Theory to take on Hendry and the Street Profits.
Breakker is coming off an impressive win over Seth Rollins at Backlash, though Paul and Theory made their presence felt with timely interference. Hendry, on the other hand, has been taking shots at Maverick, while Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford want a shot at the World Tag Team Championship.
With what happened at Backlash, it would not be surprising if Rollins makes his presence felt and get revenge on The Vision.
Roman Reigns Acknowledgement Ceremony
Despite the dominance of Jacob Fatu at Backlash, Roman Reigns found a way to win their match and remain the World Heavyweight Champion. Fatu attacked Reigns after their match, wreaking havoc and putting the Tongan Death Grip on The Tribal Chief.
The Samoan Werewolf was so unhinged that he started attacking referees and officials, including producer Shane Helms and tossing general manager Adam Pearce out of the ring.
Due to the stipulation of their match, Fatu has no other choice but to acknowledge Reigns on Raw. The Usos are likely to be there just in case their cousin decides to do more sinister things to The OTC.
