Liv Morgan is a two-time Women's World Champion.

The Road to WrestleMania 42 starts at the Royal Rumble, but it seems like WWE already has big plans for Liv Morgan.

The two-time Women’s World Champion is currently in the hunt to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Roxanne Perez. However, the company is reportedly planning to give her a huge match at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

According to Ibou of Self Made Pro, WWE is already looking at potential title matches for WrestleMania 42. Some of the names mentioned were current Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY and Morgan.

“For Mania, in terms of what the match should be, I don’t think they’ve at least, as far as I knew last week, they don’t 100% know what the match is going to be. Because there’s some people that think, like the early idea was Rhea and Stephanie one-on-one. There’s people that have suggested that. There’s people that have suggested Rhea and IYO. There are people that think Liv Morgan should win the Rumble and straight up face Stephanie Vaquer there, and that’s absolutely in play,” Ibou said.

All the names mentioned are the most popular stars in RAW’s women’s division. Vaquer is the world champ, Ripley and IYO are the tag team champs and Morgan is the de facto leader of the Judgment Day.

Morgan’s WrestleMania Resume

Liv Morgan has been with WWE since 2014, starting in NXT before getting called up to the main roster three years later. It took her a while to become a top singles star, getting her big push in 2022 after winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.

In terms of WrestleMania, Morgan has been a part of seven WrestleManias. Only four of those were in the main show, while three were on the Kickoff Show, as per Cagematch.

Her first two WrestleMania matches were the Women’s Battle Royal in 2018 and 2019. She then had a one-on-one match with Natalya at WrestleMania 36, beating The Queen of Harts inside the WWE Performance Center during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Morgan teamed up with Ruby Riott in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Tag Team Turmoil at WrestleMania 37. She then teamed up with Rhea Ripley the following year, challenging for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in a Fatal 4-Way match.

It was the same story at WrestleMania 39, another Fatal 4-Way, but it was just a showcase and nothing was on the line. Morgan’s tag team partner at the time was Raquel Rodriguez, though they were not part of the Judgment Day just yet.

Rodriguez and Morgan entered last year’s WrestleMania as the tag team champions, but they dropped the titles to Lyra Valkyria and the returning Becky Lynch.

Morgan Has Second-Best Odds To Win Women’s Rumble

According to Oddschecker, Liv Morgan has the second-best odds to win the women’s Royal Rumble match. She’s just behind Bianca Belair, who has been recovering from a knuckle injury since WrestleMania 41.

Other stars in the Top 10 are Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez, Lyra Valkyria, AJ Lee, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and IYO SKY.
