The start of the 2025 Laver Cup is right around the corner, and with Carlos Alcaraz looking to lead Team Europe to its second straight title under first-year captain Yannick Noah, there’s plenty of hype surrounding this year’s tournament.
Ahead of the start of action on Friday, here are all the details regarding the format, schedule, and more.
2025 Laver Cup Teams
This year’s tournament notably saw several players withdraw for various reasons.
Following the withdrawals of Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul due to injuries sustained at the US Open, Frances Tiafoe also notably withdrew from the tournament over the weekend.
Below you can see the updated rosters:
Team Europe
Captain: Yannick Noah
Vice Captain: Tim Henman
Roster: Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, Jakub Mensik, Flavio Cobolli.
Team World

Captains will select which players they want to play each match as they look to secure the 13 points needed to win the Laver Cup trophy.
Matches will be played under a best-of-three format with ad scoring. If players wind up going to a third set, they will play a 10-point match tiebreak to decide the set.
Every player must compete in at least one singles match during the first two days, and at least four of the six players on each team must play doubles. Additionally, captains cannot repeat doubles selections throughout the tournament.

Each session will include two matches, with four matches scheduled for each of the first two days.
One of each of the four matches will be a doubles match played by two singles players from each team.
