The Indiana Fever began training camp on Sunday at Salesforce Court inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Fever brought in 16 players, who are vying to make the final 12-player roster, plus a couple of developmental player spots.
Fever chief operating officer and general manager Amber Cox has been very busy this offseason, continuing to build around Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston. Cox re-signed Kelsey Mitchell, Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull and Damiris Dantas.
Cox also added free agent veterans Monique Billings, Tyasha Harris, Myisha Hines-Allen and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough.
In the 2026 WNBA Draft, the Fever selected Raven Johnson, Justine Pissott and Jessica Timmons.
Clark Reacts to Fever’s Offseason Moves

While Cox is the team’s COO and GM, Clark is their most important player. She spoke to reporters on Sunday and discussed a variety of topics. She was asked about the Fever’s offseason moves, and she seemed pretty pleased with what the front office did.
“I think it went great,” Clark said. “Obviously, you have to give our front office credit. It’s a very condensed timeline. It’s really hard to accomplish things, and to bring people in and let them see what we’re all about, so really thankful for the people that wanted to come here that haven’t been here before.”
The Fever superstar added that it’s all about staying healthy this season. They were ravaged by injuries last year, with Clark being among the casualties. She was limited to just 13 games due to multiple injuries.
Despite their bad luck in terms of health, the Fever made it to the playoffs. They knocked off the Atlanta Dream in the first round and pushed the eventual WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces, to the brink.
The Fever and their depleted roster took the Aces to the full five games in the semifinals, with Game 5 reaching overtime.
Clark Shares Update on Her Health

According to Ian Levy of FanSided, Clark had five total injuries last season. She first endured lower leg tightness in the preseason before suffering a strained left quad after the first four regular-season games.
Clark then had two strained groin injuries, which cut short her sophomore campaign. She was eventually ruled out on September 4 after suffering a sprained ankle during her recovery from her second groin strain.
Speaking to the media after Sunday’s training camp session, Clark shared an update about her overall health heading into the preseason.
“I feel really healthy,” Clark said. “I feel like I put myself in a position to be as healthy as I can be to start the season and kind of just stay on top of that and having a lot of fun. Like I said, great perspective on everything and excited with all the people that we brought in. It should be a really fun camp.”
Clark was cleared to return to basketball activities in December, participating in Team USA’s training camp. She also played in the 2026 FIBA World Cup qualifying tournament in Puerto Rico last March. She played so well that she won the tournament MVP honors.
