Death, taxes and Alabama having the best recruiting class in the SEC.

Since Nick Saban has come to Tuscaloosa, he’s basically been able get whatever player he wants.

Sure he’ll lose some big names to Auburn or Florida or LSU, but it’s not that common. And Saban and the Crimson Tide always seem to have a full cupboard at all positions. When you win that much and have proven success in getting players to the NFL, high schoolers take note.

But every year, the SEC dominates Signing Day and 2015 was no different.

At least 5 teams from the conference have cracked the top 10 national rankings of most recruiting services like ESPN, 247sports, Rivals and Scout.com.

Here are the top 5 recruiting classes for 2015 in the SEC:

1. Alabama Crimson Tide

The Crimson Tide might have found their next Blake Sims-to-Amari Cooper tandem in quarterback Blake Barnett and wide receiver Calvin Ridley, arguably the top receiver in the country.

Of course, it’s too early to tell. But just in case, Saban loaded up on a handful of 5-star recruits and a slew of 4-star players.

2. Auburn Tigers

One of the bigger recruiting tools Auburn used was their new defensive coordinator. That’s Will Muschamp, the former head coach at Florida. Muschamp has only been with Auburn for a handful of weeks, but has made his presence felt.

Stud defensive end Byron Cowart, a Florida native, chose Auburn over the Gators. Then a little while later star linebacker Jeffrey Holland of Jacksonville also picked the Tigers.

3. Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee scored big with some of the best players at their positions nationally.

Defensive lineman Khalil McKenzie (above), running back Alvin Kamara, wide receiver Preston Williams, defensive end Kyle Phillips and offensive lineman Drew Richmond are each considered some of the best at what they do.

This class could be key in getting the Volunteers back in the running for SEC titles.

Rivals has a breakdown of each of Tennessee’s signees here and you can get at Scout.com’s here.

4. Georgia Bulldogs

Anchored by 5-star defensive tackle Trenton Thompson (above clip) and wide receiver/athelete Terry Godwin, Georgia cracked the top 10 nationally in most recruiting service rankings.

Thompson is a considered a top 5 player nationally, while Godwin is a top 10 pass-catcher.

Offensive lineman Maea Teuhema and running back Derrius Guice can also be expected to make an early impact for LSU.
