Seeking its third SEC Championship in a row, No. 1 Alabama will take on No. 15 Florida at the Georgia Dome next weekend.

The Crimson Tide have made the last two title games feel very unlike title games, beating Missouri by 29 points in 2014 and Florida by two touchdowns last year.

And this year’s matchup is expected follow a similar trend.

Outside of a narrow five-point win at Mississippi State in its third game of the season, Nick Saban’s squad has been rolling through competition, winning every contest by double-digits. The Gators, meanwhile, have shown glimpses of being very good but have also lost two SEC games and aren’t believed to have the offensive firepower (83rd in America in points per game, 77th in yards per play) to challenge the Tide.

Put it all together, and ‘Bama opens as a three-touchdown favorite.

Nevertheless, with a title on the line, anything can happen. Here’s everything you need to know about the SEC Championship:

  1. Alabama by 21 over Florida is crazy for an SEC championship game – especially given some of the Tide inconsistencies of this year. Yes, Bama is undefeated however would be interesting to see the number of turnovers the offense has made this year compared to other teams. I am 100% Roll Tide and a UA alumnus however I just don’t think a +21 point Bama prediction is reasonable.
