Yurosek appeared in 14 games during the 2025 season and caught two passes for 14 yards. Yurosek joined the team as an undrafted free agent last May and saw limited action during his rookie campaign. With both T.J. Hockenson (shoulder) and Josh Oliver (ankle) under contract for the 2026 campaign, Yurosek will likely continue to see the majority of his playing time on special teams next season.
Yurosek wasn't targeted while taking the field for just one of the Vikings' 55 snaps on offense in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Cowboys. Yurosek was active for the first time since Week 11 but once again handled a muted role on offense. Through nine appearances on the season, the reserve tight end has logged 73 total snaps on offense and has produced a five-yard reception on two targets.
Yurosek (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Green Bay. Yurosek will be a healthy scratch for the first time this season, as the Vikings will go with three tight ends on the active roster in T.J. Hockenson, Josh Oliver and Ben Sims for Sunday's NFC North clash. Yurosek's next opportunity to play is Week 13 against the Seahawks on Sunday, Nov. 30.
