Almo previously covered the New York Knicks for Empire Sports Media and Off the Glass. He was a senior content writer and producer for TV5 in the Philippines and an associate editor at Fox Sports Philippines. He has also worked at NBA Philippines and Philstar.com.

He has traveled the world covering Manny Pacquiao boxing fights, the Asian Games and the Philippines’ national basketball team. Almo is now based in Jersey City, New Jersey.
