Alyssa Polczynski (Paul-zin-ski) is a multimedia journalist with a passion for storytelling and impactful content. She currently covers Major League Baseball and golf for Heavy.com. Her background includes work as an editorial producer for MLB.com and contributions to the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR), where she honed her skills in editorial strategy, research, and digital publishing.
Originally from Michigan, Polczynski’s passion for sports media began early and has taken many forms over the years—from writing sports features and managing social media accounts to authoring children’s books. She brings a versatile voice to every platform, always aiming to inform and engage.

Polczynski holds a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism and a master’s degree in mass communication from Arizona State University.
