Allen Wade: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Cops in Pittsburgh have charged Allen Wade, 43, the prime suspect in the murders of Susan, 44, and Dr. Sarah Wolfe, 38, reports WPXI.

On February 7, the Wolfe sisters were found shot to death in their home in East Liberty. Their bodies had been doused in bleach following the murder, reports WTAE.

1. Wade Took to Facebook to Plead His Innocence

He had previously posted on his Facebook page in what Susan and Sarah Wolfe’s brothers, John Wolfe, thought was an oblique reference to his sister’s deaths.

2. He Was Released by Cops on February 20

Wade was a neighbor of the sisters and had previously been brought in for questioning by police in relation to the murders. He was subsequently released on February 20, reports The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

According to CBS Pittsburgh, Wade is 5-feet-9 inches tall, has a shaved head and weighs around 200 pounds. Wade uses a walking cane. At 1:48 p.m. local time, he was in the custody of the Pittsburgh police.

His last residence was in the Wolfe sisters neighborhood at 703 Chislett Street (above), but he was not at the home when cops came to look for him on March 5.

3. He’s in a Long Term Relationship With a Woman

According to his Facebook page, Wade is in a relationship with Lashawn Wilcox Rue. His social media page also states that he worked at Liberty Transportation Inc. He attended Wilkinsburg High School in his native Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. On November 4 2013, he became a grandfather for the first time.

4. Wade Did a Long Stretch in Prison For Armed Robbery

WPXI reports on a long-and-storied list of criminal offenses. They include six years in prison between 2003 and 2009 for armed robbery of a bank. In 2011, he was suspected of planning to rob another bank, but charges were never brought. Later that same year, Wade was returned property from the states, including a 30-channel handheld police scanner. He also has minor arrests for simple assault, intimidation, recklessly endangering another person and traffic violations.

5. Wade Has a History of Being Abusive to Women

He has been divorced twice. According to WPXI, “three women have filed complaints against him for child support payments.” One of those complaints resulted in Wade receiving a restraining order back in 1997. The woman said that Wade threatened her life, the same woman also said that Wade owns a .380 automatic.

In 2002, one of his ex-wives, filed another restraining order. He was suspected of slashing the brake line in her car and was physically abusive. The couple were divorced in 2003.
