On Friday night, the New York Yankees played the Baltimore Orioles (at home) in the Bronx.

The Yankees won by a score of 7-2.

Aaron Judge finished with two hits, two walks, one RBI and two runs.

Judge also reached a career milestone (and made Yankees history).

YES Network wrote: “Amed knocks home Aaron Judge, for his 900th career run! This ties him with Jorge Posada for 19th in Yankee history”

Judge is having an excellent season, as he is now batting .263 with 30 hits, 12 home runs, 21 RBI’s 27 runs and five stolen bases in 32 games.

He is in his 11th year (all with the Yankees).

The next player for Judge to pass on the all-time Yankees runs list will be Tommy Henrich (901).

@RobBballHistory wrote: “Aaron Judge scored his 900th career Run, passing John Reilly, Darryl Strawberry and Don Kessinger and moved into a tie with Jorge Posada for 481st on the All Time Runs list.”

Judge has won the American League MVP Award in three of the last four seasons.

There is real reason to believe he could go for a fourth in 2026.

Through the first month of the season, the Yankees look they will have a legitimate chance to win their first World Series Championship since 2009.

Right now, they are 21-11 in 32 games, which has them as the first-place team in the American League East.

At home, the Yankees have gone 9-5 in 14 games in the Bronx.

Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun wrote: “The Orioles lose 7-2 to the Yankees. The Yankees entered this series as the AL’s best team. The Orioles entered it as a middling club. It looked that way Friday. Baltimore is 15-17.”

The Yankees and Orioles will have three more games with the series ending on Monday night.

After the Orioles, the Yankees will remain at home to host the Texas Rangers.
