Riquan James of Miami has said he, along with other victims, will file a lawsuit against NFL star brothers Mike and Maurkice Pouncey, accusing them of beating him up at a Miami nightclub on July 11, reports NBC South Florida. The other victims are his female companion that night, Niya Picket, and another friend, Brentley Williams.

1. James Accuses the Pounceys of Shouting Homophobic Slurs
He told NBC South Florida that he was in the VIP section of a night club called Cameo on the night of July 11 when the two brothers began taunting him with homophobic slurs. He adds:
From there, somebody grabbed me and I got hit. Somebody lifted me up and dragged me out of the club. I was being beat up, I was getting punched and kicked. A bottle hit me.
James has said that he has a chipped tooth and needed 10 stitches. The two brothers were at the club celebrating their 25th birthday.
2. He Describes Himself as a ‘Socialite’
According to his Twitter profile, James is an event host, choreographer, stylist, teaoligst, free spirit and socialite. He has taken to social media in the days since the incident to deny certain allegations, including those who allege he “dances flamboyantly in night clubs.”
3. James Makes & Sells T-Shirts & Hats
His website, Shop Ricky Vasquez, sells a range of t-shirts featuring celebs such as Marilyn Monroe and Bill Cosby, on top of a range of beanie hats.
4. Another of the Plaintiffs Needed Stiches
Another of the victims, Brentley Williams, posted on Instagram about the incident, saying she needed to get stitches after her ordeal.

5. This Isn’t Mike Pouncey’s First Brush With the Law
Mike Pouncey has had previous run-ins with the law. In October 2013, after a Miami/New England game, he was served with a subpoena relating to the Aaron Hernandez murder investigation. Whereas Mike is a star with the Miami Dolphins, his brother Maurkice plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
