For the first time ever, Girl Scout Cookies are being sold online, so you don’t have to hunt down a troop member in order to get some of those delicious cookies. So, how do you buy cookies online? The Girl Scouts Of America have developed a program called “Digital Cookie:
With Digital Cookie, customers will be able to buy Girl Scout Cookies through two separate digital sales platforms, depending on their market area. Some girls will market their online cookie business by inviting customers via email to visit their personalized cookie websites. There, consumers can order cookies from the comfort of their living room. Other girls will take in-person orders using a unique mobile app newly enhanced to allow for credit card processing and direct shipping, in addition to directing customers to a non-personalized website where cookies can be purchased.
If you aren’t buying cookies online, you can still find boxes online. Go to the Girl Scout website by clicking here and follow these instructions:
Just enter your zip code in the “Find Cookies!” box to find out where cookies are being sold near you. Our cookie finder makes it easy to see when the cookie season starts in your area, and where the closest sale nearby is located.
In addition to being able to buy cookies online, this year is featuring three new flavors – Rah-Rah Raisins, Toffee-Tastic, and Trio. To boot, both the Trios and Toffee Tastic cookies are gluten-free. The Trios cookies are chocolate chips in a gluten free peanut butter oatmeal cookie. The Toffee-Tastic cookies are gluten-free buttery cookies with sweet, crunchy golden toffee bits. Finally, the Rah-Rah Raisin cookies are oatmeal cookies made with whole grain oats, that are packed with raisins and Greek yogurt-flavored chunks.
The other cookies still available are the Thin Mints, Carmel DeLites (Samoas), Peanut Butter Patties (Tagalong), Shortbread (Trefoils), Do-si-dos (Peanut Butter Sandwich), Cranberry Citrus Crisps, Lemonades, Savannah Smiles, and Thanks-A-Lot (Chocolate & Shortbread).
