The Tesla Model 3’s final production model was finally unveiled today and fans were definitely not disappointed. Elon Musk revealed the car’s colors, interior, trim, and more. This electric car starts at a base price of $35,000, which makes it the most affordable electric car in Tesla’s lineup. But it also boasts the beauty of the Model S and many features that Tesla fans have come to love.
The event began at 9 p.m. Pacific, and fans and customers from around the world were waiting to finally see the car they preordered last April.

First, Elon Musk drove onto stage in a red Model 3.
The Model 3 is coming in three types: a standard and a long range version. The standard version costs $35,000, has a 220 mile range. and goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds.
For the interior, the aim was a simple and clean design, Musk explained:
Elon explained that even though a car like the Volvo is very safe, it’s “arguably the second-safest car in the world.” But he showed a picture, indicating how much safer the Model 3 is.
Then he unveiled the 30 cars, as they were charging and waiting to be picked up:
The long range Model 3 has a 310 mile range and reaches 130 mph. It costs $44,000 and goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. Its top speed is 140 mph.
