The PGA Tour makes it stop in Fort Worth, Texas, this week for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.
The odds have been set and a local star is the heavy favorite. Dallas native and Masters winner Jordan Spieth comes in at 5/1 by sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Behind Spieth are Zach Johnson (14/1) and Jimmy Walker (18/1). Last year’s winner, Adam Scott, has 28/1 odds and runner-up Jason Dufner is 75/1.
Since taking the green jacket in a wire-to-wire victory in the golf season’s first major last month, Spieth has a T11 (RBC Heritage) and a T17 (WGC Match Play), but is coming off a missed cut at The Players Championship.
The Crowne Plaza Invitational gets underway Thursday, May 21, from Colonial Country Club.
