Atlanta Falcons punter Matt Bosher is married to Brittany Maite Boyer.
The couple was married in 2015. Here’s what you need to know about Mrs. Bosher:
1. Brittany & Matt Are High School Sweethearts & Dated Throughout College
Brittany Maite Boyer, 27, and Matt Bosher, 29, are high school sweethearts, according to Jupiter Magazine. They met while they were both students at Jupiter Community High School in Florida, and continued dating through college. Brittany attended the University of Florida and Matt played football at the University of Miami.
The couple realized they were meant to be while they were apart during college.
“No one would be able to replace Matt to me. He is my soul mate; the yin to my yang,” Brittany told Jupiter Magazine.
Bosher proposed to Brittany in the botanical gardens of Madrid, Spain.
“It was a magical experience in the middle of the night under the stars in Madrid,” Brittany told Jupiter Magazine. “All I can say is he couldn’t have done any better than that.”
After a year-and-a-half engagement, the couple got married in February 2014 in Jupiter.
“The weather was amazing; the day was filled with laughter, love and excitement. I wish I could relive it every weekend!” she told Floridian Social.
2. Their Son, Mac, Was Born in 2016
Brittany Bosher gave birth to the couple’s first son, Matthew Carl Bosher, who they nicknamed Mac, on March 14, 2016.
“Can’t believe how much life can change in one year! So proud of our happy little family!” Matt Bosher said on Instagram during training camp this year, posting a picture with his wife and son.
“Last year I was celebrating my 26th year being six months pregnant. And this year my 27th with my nine month old. The best gift I could ever have dreamed of, my son and my husband, our little family,” Brittany wrote on Instagram on her birthday.
The family now splits their time between their hometown of Jupiter and Atlanta.
3. She Graduated From the University of Florida in 2012 With a Business Degree
Brittany Boyer Bosher graduated from the University of Florida in 2012 with a degree in business administration, with a focus in finance, according to her Linkedin profile.
She has six siblings, including step-brothers and step-sisters.
Her younger brother Bradley Boyer died tragically in June 2016 at the age of 24.
“You were my best friend, I am going to miss you so much Bradley. Life will not be complete without you. I love you with all of my heart. Rest in peace my angel,” she said in a touching tribute on Instagram, along with a photo from when they were kids.
4. She Works in Marketing for Her Family’s Real Estate Firm
Brittany Bosher works in marketing for her family’s real estate firm, Waterfront Properties & Club Communities, according to her Linkedin profile. She has worked there for seven years.
She is an internet content, social branding and SEO specialist for the company.
“She collaboratively works with a high-tech team of 20+ professionals that have contributed to positioning Waterfront Properties & Club Communities as the largest purveyor of luxury real estate in Northern Palm Beach and Martin Counties,” according to her Linkedin profile. “Brittany’s efforts play a significant role in optimizing Waterfront’s industry-leading, award-winning online strategies. 5. She Volunteers With Other Players’ Wives as Part of the Atlanta Falcons Women’s Association
Brittany Maite Bosher is also active as a volunteer, including in her work with other players’ wives and girlfriends in the Atlanta Falcons Women’s Association.
Through that group she has worked with other wives, including Melissa Bryant, the wife of Falcons’ kicker Matt Bryant, on programs in the FalCan Food Drive and Challenged Child Atlanta, an arts and crafts event at the Georgia Aquarium for children with disabilities.
She is also involved in the Atlanta Mission, which provides holiday meals for those in need, and Battered Women and Children of Atlanta, where she helps make meals, serve dinner and engage with women and children in need in the Atlanta area.
In her native Jupiter, Bosher also volunteers with Dress for Success Palm Beach County Chapter, which provides gently used professional clothing to women in need, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Palm Beach County and the American Cancer Society Palm Beach County Chapter.
