On Friday evening, the Texas Rangers played the Dodgers in Los Angeles, California.
The Dodgers won by a score of 8-7.
Despite the loss, Corey Seager had one home run and three RBI’s.

Seager’s Time With The Dodgers
Seager was the 18th pick in the 2012 MLB Draft.
He spent the first seven years of his career with the Dodgers.
In that span, Seager batted .297 with 104 home runs, 364 RBI’s and 394 runs.
The 31-year-old made two All-Star Games and helped lead the Dodgers to the 2020 World Series Championship.

Seager’s Run With The Rangers
Seager then signed with the Rangers before the 2022 season.
He made three straight All-Star Games (and helped the franchise win the 2023 World Series).

Seager will have a chance to become a Hall of Famer one day.
He is currently batting .234 with four home runs, ten RBI’s, eight runs and one stolen base in his first 13 games of the 2026 season.
Looking At The Rangers
With their loss on Friday, the Rangers dropped to 7-6 in 13 games, which still has them at the top of the American League West.
They are 4-3 in the seven games they have played on the road.
Following two more games against the Dodgers, the Rangers will visit the Athletics on Monday night in Sacramento.
After winning the World Series in 2023, the Rangers have been unable to return to the MLB playoffs in each of the last two years.
