Dodgers’ Miguel Rojas Reveals Tragic, Sad Reason for Being Away from Team

Some things are bigger than baseball. As the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Toronto Blue Jays in a highly anticipated three-game series, Miguel Rojas had to depart the team before the second game of the series to attend to a family matter, which has since been revealed.

On Wednesday, Miguel Rojas took to his personal Instagram to announce the tragic, sad news that his father has suddenly passed away.

“With immense pain on behalf of the entire Rojas family, I must let everyone who had the opportunity to know and spend time with my father Miguel Rojas ‘Micky’ know that yesterday, April 7, he passed away suddenly in the afternoon. I want to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out to me and my entire family to show their affection and let us know how loved my father was throughout his life. May God receive him in His glory and may he rest in peace.”
