The Los Angeles Dodgers are rolling right now.
They have won six straight games after consecutive sweeps of the Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates. However, LA will now head east to face the Atlanta Braves in what should be a much tougher series.
The Dodgers get the day off on Monday and will open up the 3-game series with the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday evening. Also on Tuesday, Tyler Glasnow will be making his return for the Dodgers.

Tyler Glasnow Slated to Start for Dodgers on Tuesday

According to multiple reports, Tyler Glasnow is slated to start for the Dodgers in their series opener with the Braves on Tuesday.
Glasnow has been out since May with a back issue, and after a lengthy rehab stint, the Dodgers will be getting back another very formidable arm for their playoff push.
MLBTR.com’s Charlie Wright wrote (about Glasnow’s rehab):
“Glasnow got up to 77 pitches in his final rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He allowed one earned run on one hit with nine strikeouts across 5 1/3 innings. Glasnow piled up 19 strikeouts over 11 2/3 frames with the Comets. Lower back spasms derailed a strong start to the year for Glasnow. He posted a 2.72 ERA through seven outings to open the season. Glasnow struck out more than a third of the hitters he faced across 39 2/3 innings. He was removed from a start against the Astros in early May with the back issue.”
With the addition of Glasnow, it seems like LA’s rotation will be complete, and it’s probably one of the more dominant ones we’ve ever seen.
Shohei Ohtani is still set to return, but he will require a buildup in the Majors.
As of now, the Dodgers rotation currently projects as: Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tarik Skubal, Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow, and Roki Sasaki. Even Sasaki is throwing the ball much better lately.

It’s unclear how long Tyler Glasnow will be stretched out in his first MLB outing in several months, but much like Blake Snell, Los Angeles will hope that Glasnow can be ramped up before October. Dave Roberts did mention that Glasnow isn’t expected to have a pitch count on Tuesday, but that will depend on how stressful the pitches he makes are throughout the outing.
As Wright noted, Glasnow had a strong start to the 2026 season, and a common bugaboo of recent campaigns has been lengthy injuries, but Glasnow is one of the more dominant starters when on the mound.
With the Dodgers (parts of three seasons), Glasnow has made 47 regular-season starts, and over 264 innings pitched, he carries an ERA of 3.27 with 323 strikeouts. He was also named to his first All-Star appearance with LA in 2024.
