Glasnow did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Marlins, allowing two runs on three hits and six walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out nine. While it was the first time Glasnow failed to make it through six innings this season, the right-hander managed to limit the damage by matching a season high in strikeouts despite issuing a season high six walks -- he hadn't issued more than two free passes in any of his prior five starts. Glasnow's ERA sits at 2.56 with a stellar 0.83 WHIP and 47:13 K:BB across 38.2 innings this year. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Astros on the road in his next outing.

Glasnow is off to a phenomenal start, sporting a 2.45 ERA, 0.70 WHIP and 38:7 K:BB over 33 frames, and he's next set for a favorable home matchup versus Miami.
Strikes out seven in win Friday
Glasnow (2-0) earned the win Friday against the Rockies, allowing one run on two hits and two walks with seven strikeouts across seven innings. Glasnow surrendered a leadoff double to Mickey Moniak in the bottom of the fourth inning, and he came around to score on a groundout for the Rockies' only run of the night. It was a big rebound outing for Glasnow after he served up a couple homers and four runs to the Rangers last time out last Friday. Glasnow has gone at least six innings in all four starts and has three quality starts under his belt. The right-hander now owns a 3.24 ERA and 29:6 K:BB across 25 innings.
