Following the 4-1 victory, and series victory, Bauers spoke to the media about his 12-pitch at-bat which resulted in his game-winning home run.
“That one felt good,” Bauers said after the game. “I got into the dugout, and I told Murph that might have been the best at-bat of my life. Obviously, it means a little more when you’re 12 pitches deep trying to get the job done.”
“I was just happy to get the job done and come through.”

Bauers finished the game with one walk, one strikeout, and one hit in three at-bats on Saturday.

Bauers is a 30-year-old first baseman.
In 117 games, he has 23 home runs, 74 RBIs, nine stolen bases, two triples, and 19 doubles. Additionally, he has recorded 108 hits, 69 walks, and a .273 batting average.
The 6-foot, 216-pound infielder was originally a 2013 draft selection of the San Diego Padres.
In addition to the Padres, Bauers has been with the Tampa Bay Rays, Cleveland Guardians, Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds, and the New York Yankees before coming to the Brewers.

The final game between these two teams will take place on Sunday at 5:10 PM Mountain Time, 7:10 Eastern Time.
Tyler Mahle and Shane Drohan are the starting pitchers scheduled to take the mound on Sunday night.
