The MLB released its Top 100 Players right now on Thursday, January 22. To no surprise, the Seattle Mariners were well represented on that list. Five players found their names among the league’s hottest talents.

Only the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers had more players on the list, putting Seattle third overall. The Mariners featured Cal Raleigh (No. 4), Julio Rodríguez (No. 16), Bryan Woo (No. 44), Josh Naylor (No. 70), and Logan Gilbert (No. 72). Each of which played a critical role during one of Seattle’s most successful seasons in years.

Cal Raleigh

Cal Raleigh made one of the biggest leaps in the Top 100. He moved through the ranks from No. 59 to No. 4. The 29-year-old catcher had a historic 2026 season, setting the single-season home run record for a catcher. This milestone placed him among the elite power hitters in the game.

Raleigh’s skills showed outside of the regular season. He became the first catcher in MLB history to win the Home Run Derby, cementing his breakout year and solidifying himself as an offensive engine in Seattle.

Julio Rodríguez

Julio Rodríguez once again proved why he remains such an important figure in the Pacific Northwest. In the 2025 season, he appeared in 160 games, and showcased a necessary blend of power, speed, and durability.

Rodríguez finished the season batting .267 with a .324 on-base percentage and .798 OPS. He contributed 32 home runs and 30 stolen bases. His all-around production earned him a third career top-10 finish in AL MVP voting, reinforcing him as a baseball star and a constant face throughout Seattle’s success.

Bryan Woo

Bryan Woo’s season saw both highs and lows. The right-hander posted a 15–7 record, a 2.98 ERA, and 198 strikeouts across 186.2 innings, finishing fifth in American League Cy Young voting.

Despite his impressive performance, Woo’s season was cut short after suffering a pectoral injury on September 19, sidelining him for the remainder of the regular season. He was limited to relief appearances during the ALCS, but his contributions earlier in the year were instrumental in Seattle’s success.

Josh Naylor

Josh Naylor made an immediate impact following his arrival in Seattle last season. Sine then, he has signed a reportedly $92.5 million contract, the richest free-agent deal for a position player since Jerry Dipoto became president of baseball operations in 2015.

Naylor helped transform the Mariners’ offense following his arrival in July. He batted a .299 with nine home runs and 19 stolen bases in just 54 games. He elevated his play in the postseason as well, hitting .340 during the playoffs and playing a key role in Seattle’s run to the ALCS.

Logan Gilbert

After leading Major League Baseball in innings pitched in 2024, Logan Gilbert faced some challenges in 2025. The right-hander landed on the injured list in April with a right elbow flexor strain. This marked his first IL stint of his career, and he didn’t return until mid-June.

Once back on the mound, Gilbert returned to regular form. He posted a 3.75 ERA with 129 strikeouts in just 25 walks. He finished the season with 173 strikeouts in 131 innings, and his 11.89 strikeouts per nine innings led all pitchers with a minimum of 120 innings.
