Gilbert didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the White Sox, allowing no runs on one hit and no walks in six innings. He struck out nine. The 29-year-old right-hander was phenomenal Sunday, giving up a lone double in the first inning and proceeding to pitch perfectly the rest of the way. It was easily Gilbert's finest showing of the campaign so far, as he fanned a season-high nine and posted his first scoreless start of 2026. Gilbert will try to build on Sunday's effort his next time out against the Padres next weekend, and he has a 3.78 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 52:10 K:BB over 50 innings overall this season.

Logan Gilbert: Breaking News
Serves up four homers in victory
Gilbert (2-3) earned the win over Atlanta on Monday, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four batters over six innings. Gilbert and JR Ritchie were locked in a pitchers' duel through five frames, with Atlanta holding a 1-0 lead heading into the sixth. Gilbert got hit hard in that inning, giving up a trio of solo homers to fall behind 4-0. However, Seattle stormed back with five runs in the bottom of the frame, not only rescuing Gilbert from defeat but ultimately handing him the victory. This was far from the right-hander's best outing -- the four homers he allowed altogether were as many as he had served up over his first seven starts combined, but it certainly helped his final line that all the long balls were of the solo variety. Gilbert will take a mediocre 4.30 season ERA into his next start, which is slated to be a road tilt against the White Sox.
Sharp against Minnesota
Gilbert did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Twins, allowing one run on six hits and one walk while striking out four over five innings. Gilbert worked around several threats early, stranding multiple runners and keeping Minnesota off the board through four innings. The right-hander's only damage came in the fifth when Byron Buxton led off the frame with a solo homer. Despite limiting the damage Tuesday, Gilbert was stuck with a no-decision as Seattle's offense managed just one run of support. He now owns a 4.03 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and a 39:8 K:BB across 38 innings and will face a tough test in his next scheduled start against an Atlanta lineup that has scored 72 runs over its last 12 games.
