CJ McCollum went off for 32 points, three rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block while shooting 12/22 from the field in 35 minutes of playing time.

McCollum finished the regular season with averages of 18.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range in 76 games.

McCollum was the 10th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of Lehigh.
He spent the first eight and a half seasons of his career playing for the Portland Trail Blazers.
In that span, McCollum helped lead the franchise to the NBA playoffs in all eight years (and they reached the 2019 Western Conference finals).
Following the Trail Blazers, the 34-year-old had stints with the New Orleans Pelicans and Washington Wizards.

McCollum was traded to the Hawks during the middle of the 2025-26 season.
His career averages are 19.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest while shooting 45.3% from the field and 39.5% from three-point range in 863 games.
ESPN’s Shams Charania wrote (on January 7): “The Atlanta Hawks are trading four-time NBA All-Star Trae Young to the Washington Wizards for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert, sources tell ESPN.”

The Hawks finished the regular season as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 46-36 record.
They are 23-20 in the 43 games they have played on the road away from State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
