After Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen reported to Organized Team Activities this week, he celebrated his 30th birthday on May 21.
Allen returned to Orchard Park to start building chemistry with his new locker mate and No. 1 wide receiver, DJ Moore. Bills head coach Joe Brady already likes what he sees.
“We try to be really intentional with some of these routes… There’s a lot that goes into it, but I think they have developed so far, a good chemistry in terms of communication, in terms of, ‘Hey, this is what I’m looking for. Hey, what did you think there?’ I think that’s all you can ask for at this point,” Brady told reporters earlier this week.
Before the next round of OTAs that run from May 26 to May 28, Allen celebrated his birthday with his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, and their baby girl.

Steinfeld wrote in the May 22 issue of her newsletter, Beau Society, “I love birthdays. I love a homemade cake covered in candles. I love balloons. I love the casualness of a few friends going out to dinner and toasting to another year. I love any excuse to give someone a handwritten card.
“If you read the More BS updates issue this week, you know I’ve been thinking a lot about Josh’s 30th birthday. Officially, it was yesterday, but we’re celebrating through the weekend! This is his first birthday as a dad (!!), which means we get to spend it with our little lady.”
“Over the next few days, there will be lots of cake, quality time with close friends, and of course, some golfing.”
While the “Sinners” star loves a good party, those parties look a lot different these days. “At this point in my life, birthdays are a lot simpler. Don’t get me wrong, I love a party or night out every once in a while, but in this chapter of life, it’s the little birthday things — having breakfast together as a family, a quick ‘I’m so grateful you were born’ message — that mean the most to me.”

It’s not easy to buy presents for Allen, who signed a six-year, $330 million contract last season. However, the 29-year-old knew the perfect gift would feature their newborn.
In addition to a handwritten card, “I love crafts,” Steinfeld wrote. “So, I get really into handmade gifts. For Josh’s gift, I had a little help from two tiny feet!” It sounds like Steinfeld gave her husband a framed photo of their newborn’s footprints. The Oscar-nominated actress shared the first photos of their baby girl earlier this month.
The couple also took a walk down memory lane. “This week, as I was digging through old photos, finding some I’d completely forgotten about, I sent them to Josh along with the memory it brought up for me,” she added.
