The body of missing 12-year-old Rebecca Ann Sedwick was found early on the morning of September 10 at a former cement company in Lakeland, Florida, reports The Ledger Newspaper.

1.Sedwick Left Home For School Without Her Schoolbooks
Sedwick had been missing since September 9. She left her home at around 6:45 a.m. to go to school. It was later discovered that she had never gotten on the school bus and had left the home without her school books.
2. Her Body Was Found Less Than a Mile From Her Home
Sedwick was officially reported missing at 7 p.m. At around 2:30 a.m. on September 10 her body found on the premises of a former cement company less than a mile from her home on Arizona Avenue. The location is here at 315 North Eastside Drive in Lakeland:
3. Sedwick Had Made Threats About Harming Herself
WESH reports that Sedwick had made claims about harming herself prior to leaving for school.

4. The Cause of Death Has Not Been Determined
Police in Polk County, Florida are not releasing details about Sedwick’s death pending the results of an autopsy.
