The Wisconsin woman, Connie McCallister was just 16-years-old when she vanished from her new home in the town of Wausau, Wisconsin. Now she has been found living in Mexico where she is the mother to three children, reports ABC 9.

1. She’s Been Found Working as a Farm Laborer in Mexico
According to reports she weighed just 98 pounds and was working on a farm. She is the mother to three children and has suffered through two abusive relationships in Mexico after being drugged when she was 16 and brought there, reports The Wausau Daily-Herald.
2. McCallister Had Been Dating a 22-Year-Old
Having just moved to the Wisconsin town of Wausau, the 16-year-old McCallister had been dating a 22-year-old. She claims that the 22-year-old, who is so-far unnamed, had drugged her and brought her to Mexico while she was out cold. Due to his violent nature, she found it impossible to escape or to even contact her worried family.
The last contact she had with her family was when McCallister called her sister from a party in Milwaukee that she was attending with the older boyfriend. She told her sister that he was refusing to bring her home.
3. Her Family Confirmed Contact With McCallister 3 Months Ago
Having dealt with rumors that their daughter was in Mexico for years, Connie McCallister finally made contact with her family three months ago. She has spoken on Skype with her brother and aunt. Wasusau Police Captain Greg Hagenbucher says:
We have confirmed, through conversations on Skype, that this is really Connie, and she did ask for help in getting home. But she won’t come back without her children.
The Trinity Lutheran Church in Athens, Wisconsin where McCallister had been active prior to her disappearance is raising money to bring her home.
4. It’s Not Known When the Relationship With Her First Boyfriend Ended
McCallister got out of the relationship with the man she says brought her to Mexico when he beat her so badly she required medical care, thanks to unknown Samaritan, she was able to get a new identity. The same original boyfriend is also wanted on sexual assault charges, according to The Associated Press. She is now with another man, with whom she is married, who fathered at least one of her children, this relationship was also been described as “abusive.”
5. Her Mother Now Lives in Florida
The once-missing woman still has family in Wisconsin though her mother, Cindy, has relocated to Florida. A U.S. Consulate in Mexico is working with her family to help her return to America.
